CFOT Results: Lynne
Scott Mendelson's 1,015-lb bench press
We did Lynne today, which is 5 rounds of max reps in bench press at bodyweight and pull-ups.
As many predicted, Daniel took home top honors in the men's division. Nabil, in his first time doing this workout, put up an impressive 194. Good stuff! Also warranting mention is Connor's first round of bench presses at 250#, knocking out 15 reps!
The women's division was a two-woman contest between Tamara and Candace, with Tamara edging out Candace for top honors. These two athletes hold the distinction of being the only women in CFO to do Lynne as rx'd to date.

I'm still crying over my 2-point loss to Patrick for third place. But all in all, it was great work by everyone, with a ton of PRs being hit by many.

Mendleson's 2 1/2 inch range of motion is breathtaking.

Nice work yesterday. I was tired as hell and wanted to just breeze through the workout but you made me bring my A game. You got 220 next time around easy. There must be something in calve tattoos that makes the bench easier or something...
Yeah the tattoo definitely makes bench press easier.... but only if you get it on the right calf, a tattoo on the left calf means you're gay... or wait, is it the other way around? ... I thought it was opposite of the ear ring rule because you're dealing with the frontal plane and not the sagital plane.... oh now I'm really stressed out!
Mike, did I get a point for doing hang squat cleans as rx'd today on the rest day?

haha i must be confused, bc i went down a pt from last night. guess i shouldn't have said anything. points schmoints...the throwdown has motivated me, and thats all that counts.
