Welcome to the CFO Throwdown Blog!

Due to the overwhelming demand for CFO Throwdown results, as well as a need to give the trash-talkers an open forum, we've decided to create a CFO Throwdown blog.

We'll have updated CFOT scores for all participants tomorrow morning. In addition, we'll try and provide as much content (pictures and videos) of all the CFOT participants as possible.

So check back frequently and let the banter begin!

To get this whole thing started, let's have you post to comments your best guess for the first workout of the next three-day cycle.

Oh man I just hope it's heavy lifting. Too much metcon for me.

Methinks, the total is in our future. I give it the finger.

I'm thinking heavy lifting...CFT or max 1 rep of something. I HOPE it's a 5k!!

As long as it does involve running, the stupid glute-ham machine, situps, airsquats, or burpees I will be excited! I'm hoping for Oly lifting.

After the first set of WOD's Vegas has just re-issued the latest odds!

Previous/(New)

Daniel: 2:3 (6:1) dropping fast
Steven: 1:1 (2:3) clubhouse leader
Brandon: 5:2 (no change)
Lau: 3:1 (5:1) poor start
Patrick: 7:2 (6:1)
Nabil 5:1
Loren: 5:1 (6:1) stiff competition
Jacques: 9:1
JP: 9:1
Lance: Field Bet 12:1
Brad Greenlee: Field Bet 12:1
Joe P: Field Bet 12:1
Connor: Field Bet 12:1
EK: Field Bet 12:1
Alec: Field Bet 12:1
Brad Gilliatt: 500:1 (750:1) sucker bet

Casey: 1:1 (2:1) odds increased, but still the favorite
Audra: 3:2 (3:1) slight increase
Connie: 4:1 (no action, off the board)
Tamara: 5:1 (no change) wait til the ashpalt
Candace: 5:1 (no change)
Beth: (6:1) new bet
Dawn: (6:1) new bet
Amy: Field Bet 8:1
Sierra: Field Bet 8:1
Laura: Field Bet 8:1
Kirsten: Field Bet 8:1

The Throwdown challenge is off to an amazing start! PR's and wrecked bodies abound. Three hard WOD's featured one performance that placed nationally - Nabil, now at 5:1.

The male favorite has stumbled out of the gate. Fans far and wide are wondering....

Men's Field Bet is well represented by strong starts from Brad Greenlee and Lance.

Womans side is tightly bunched at the top. Tamara is backing up her early smack talk, however, she's getting no respect from the house. We'll see.

An anticipated Michael or 5k could provide us new leaders heading into the weekend.

Lot of time left.

Good luck!

The over/under line for Minium's 1st place WOD performances is now:

4

A lot of action on the under.

DIANE! YES!

Brad,
You sound like a guy that is a NY Giants, and Boston Red Sox's fan...jump on that Steven bandwagon!
You know the Giants started out 0-2.

Daniel -

Diane - an early Christmas gift for you!

Only person I'm cheering for is me! A bandwagon of one.

I have to beat Lance for a 6pk of Pacifico!!!!!

Do you have any side action with Steven? You know, if you do, that might effect the odds.
